Whilst utilising the standard OEM control valve positioner communication tools (HART/Fieldbus communicators) currently available, Vicon Control Valve Solutions in conjunction with our technology partner Softek Engineering (USA) brings control valve diagnostics to the next level by offering the PROFILER Test System.
This compact system it is fully field service compatible for both on and offshore applications, we can perform predictive diagnostic tests on all air operated control and choke valve types and configurations regardless of Valve OEM by having the ability to communicate with all Positioner protocols: Analog (4-20 mA), Fieldbus, Profibus & HART.
Non intrusive diagnostic testing can greatly reduce the need for control valves to be 'blindly' removed from line for inspection purposes, thus reducing Control Valve down time and can assist with spares rationalisation.
