Vicon Control Valve Solutions workshops are also accredited for overhaul and re-certification of Pressure Relief/Safety Valves in accordance to Australian Standard AS1271 and American Petroleum Institute Standards API527. Our facilities are equipped to carry out set pressure testing and seat tightness testing of PSV / PRVs of all sizes for up 7500 PSI (517 bar).
The facilities are also equipped with high-tolerance machine shop and lapping/polishing equipment. This allows critical components such as valve discs and nozzle repair to be conducted in house for a rapid turnaround time. All PSV re-certification work is supplied with a NATA-accredited test certificate and also upon request, a comprehensive engineering report, outlining all activities conducted during overhaul and re-certification can be provided.
